Vaccines – When Public Health falls Victim of Big Money

Prof. Henri Joyeux is a well-known French surgeon and much sought after specialised for cancer.
However, he now entered the limelight for a very different reason. He started an online petition that apparently stepped onto the toes of the wrong people – Big Pharma. In his petition, he demands to ensure availability of DT-Polio vaccines without aluminum, as 6 antigen based combination vaccines can trigger uncontrolled immune reactions (anaphylactic shock) resulting in severe side-effects and can be lethal.
However, shortly after his petition took off and found widespread support, Prof. Henri Joyeux had his medical licence revoked and is now no longer allowed to practice as a physician. He thus now shares the fate of Dr. Wakefield, who came to fame via the documentary “Vaxxed”, and who was stripped of his approbation following his criticism of vaccine safety.
DT-Polio vaccine: No choice without a selection to choose from
There are only 3 compulsory vaccines in France: diphtheria, tetanus and polio. However, vaccines with only those 3 antigen are mostly out of stock or simply unavailable. Hence, parents are left with no choice but to have their children vaccinated with Infanrix®-hexa by GlaxoSmithKline, a vaccine that is aimed to protect against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, hepatitis B, poliomyelitis and a disease caused by Haemophilus influenzae type b – 3 of which are not mandatory in France. Infanrix®-hexa has often been subject to criticism for for containing aluminum and formaldehyde, as well as being (7 times) more expensive than vaccines containing only the 3 compulsory antigens.
Therefore, with no adequate (3 antigen) vaccine available on the market, and parents even facing criminal prosecution under the law if they choose not to have their children immunised, Prof. Henri Joyeux exercised his right to his own opinion in a supposedly democratic society and started said petition to stop this infringement of parental rights.
Having received over 1 Million signatures (numbers still rising), he has now raised a red flag amongst Pharma lobbyists that already see their profits shrink should the voice of the people be heard.
Big Pharma has just entered the ring.
